NOTE: If Keep Mode LED On is chosen but the Keypad (2nd generation) is unplugged, the Keypad will perform as if Motion Detection has been chosen to preserve battery power. To choose Keypad modes, open your Ring app, navigate to your Keypad device on the main menu, then go to the LED Settings tile. LEDs light up only when you press a button on your Keypad (preserves battery power). LED lights will stay on at all times (when plugged into a working power source). The Ring Alarm Keypad (2nd Generation) allows you to choose between 3 modes: To recharge your Ring Keypad, use the provided USB cable and plug. The rechargeable battery allows you to move it around your home easily, and the power should last a few months before it needs to be recharged (depending on usage and power save settings).
